Win a pair of sunglasses for running
By Henry Howard
The days are getting longer, which means more of my runs are taking place in the light. It’s a refreshing change but one that also requires different gear.
Among the items I’m using more frequently now than in the recent past are sunglasses. After way too many runs at zero dark thirty, it’s refreshing to see the sunrise on early morning runs. And for my weekend runs, I am often able to spend more time out when the sun is shining.
I’ve recently tried Nathan ‘s Adventure Polarized Sunglasses and like what I, well, see. This is not a full-fledged review as I honestly have not spent enough time wearing them. However, my initial impressions are that the sunglasses are comfortable, do provide good protection from the sun’s rays and reduce glare, allowing the runner to navigate trails and roads safely.
Nathan says its polycarbonate polarized lenses provide 100% UV Protection. Of course, it’s critically important to protect yourself from the sun ray’s in summer and throughout the year. Here's why you should wear sunglasses while running when it's sunny.
Special contest
Many thanks to Nathan for providing eight pairs of the Adventure Polarized Sunglasses for my readers and followers. I am hosting random drawings during the weeks of June 12 and June 19, 2022, to give away the sunglasses. In order to be in the random drawings, here is what you need to do:
• Follow me on Instagram here.
• Follow RunSpirited on Instagram here.
• Like my RunSpirited Facebook page.
• Subscribe to my Monday Motivation newsletter. Visit RunSpirited.com and enter your name and email address in the box at the top right corner of the page.
Over the next two weeks, I will randomly select the winners from the followers of those pages. You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the continental United States to be eligible. Those whose names I select will be contacted and must accept the prize and provide a mailing address within 48 hours of initial contact. If they do not, I will redraw and select a new winner.
May the sun shine brightly on your path!
