The Roark Alta Elite 3.5" Shorts and Alta Elite Short Sleeve Tee are stylish and fun.

Spring is finally here! And for runners that means we get to shed the layers and wear lighter clothing during our jaunts on the trails, roads and track.

I've been a big fan of Roark for a while now. And I am looking forward to running more often in the new Alta Elite 3.5" Shorts and Alta Elite Short Sleeve Tee from their Roark Run Amok collection. (I’ve worn and enjoyed the shorts, but just need the weather to warm up a bit to wear the T-shirt as my only top layer.) Roark designed these items with trail racing in mind. It's a progressive and minimal design aligned with a pursuit to go faster and lighter.

I love the fun, creative designs, as well as their comfort. Some Roark gear is good for running while others are best for a gym workout, yoga or just lounging around. (Here is some other Roark gear I reviewed previously.)

Here are more details on the Roark shorts and shirts:

Alta Elite 3.5" Shorts

Roark Alta Elite 3.5" Shorts are well designed and fun.

I really like these very stylish black shorts that are antimicrobial, moisture-wicking and have an integrated liner. Made of nylon and spandex, they are comfortable and feature Roark’s typical fun, stylish design.

There are two small pockets to stash gels or something small. Do note that the pockets are not large enough to carry a phone or multiple items. If heading out for a long run, you will need a vest or another option to carry items you’ll need on the go.

This T-shirt (Moonstone, which is basically white) is really comfortable, and also is antimicrobial and moisture-wicking. The lightweight shirt is made with a recycled poly blend, sort of a mesh material and feel. I’ve worn it as a bottom layer on a few runs and it is definitely breathable and keeps me dry.

And just like the shorts, the shirt also is stylish.

Conclusion

Once again I found Roark spring running gear is comfortable, stylish and fun. The comfort, performance and designs are all amazing! And I really like the detail on the shorts — “Roark "Run Amok" Somewhere Between Freedom & Chaos.”

If you are looking for some comfortable gear that is versatile enough for exercise, yardwork or just hanging out, give Roark a try.
